Valor Commercial Essentials was founded by Casey Sirmans, a Service-Disabled Veteran based in Charleston, South Carolina. After years of service in the United States military, Casey came home with something most veterans carry: a relentless standard for doing things right. Not close enough. Not good enough. Right.

Casey spent years watching homeowners overpay for mediocre filters at hardware chains, or get talked into MERV 11 and 13 ratings that quietly strangled their HVAC systems. He watched property managers get jerked around by inconsistent vendors who couldn't maintain quality across bulk orders. He watched federal facilities struggle to find small-business vendors who were actually certified and could actually deliver.
